The municipality of Kastelruth/Castelrotto has very tradition-conscious citizens. About the whole year different customs are received through and laid:

• farmers wedding (in January)
• religious processions on respective Sundays in the whole year (the feast of Corpus Christi, Thanksgiving...)
• tradition on Sunday of Sacred Heart: you will see a lot of fires burning on the top of the hills and the mountains on dusk
• the celebration of driving cattle down from the alpine pastures (autumn)
• various national costumes on various occasions

• concerts of local and foreign bands (summer)
• farmers markets (summer)
